What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the practice of using meditation and breathing techniques to become more aware of our thoughts and feelings, so that instead of being overwhelmed by them, we are better able to manage them.  Mindfulness helps us t live more fully in the present instead of dwelling unhealthily on the past or worrying fruitlessly about the future.  It helps to change the way we think, feel and act.
